What happened
I was walking from the fuel hut to my machine at the landfill and stepped on a roofing nail that was laying in the mulch that covers the ground. It went into my left work boot and punctured my big toe. I removed it and immediately called my supervisor. I was sent to the nurse and they gave me some antibiotics and verified that my shots were up to date. They will see me again on the [REDACTED] for a follow up.
