What happened
The [REDACTED] employee had been working on the second MTS line working exclusively on MTSIP MTSCP and MSTSSP units. Due to absences he was working on the regular MTS line in the framing station. Employee was framing an MTSBC unit a unit he had not framed for at least a year. He was attaching the belt guard. In order to avoid scratching the paint on the belt guard with the torque gun he was using a socket wrench and allen wrench to tighten the bolts. As he was pulling on the socket wrench he believes it came loose and hit him in the mouth. He stated he was not 100 percent sure. The impact cut his upper lip and he was sent to the local urgent care to receive stitches. Employee has worked in ATO for about six years working on many different lines including MTS.
