Worker was building a platform system for the scaffolding to walk on.
What happened
2 laborers were setting up the doka scaffold planks. The injured worker was on the top of the scaffold and the other worker was on the ground handing the injured worker osha planks to walk on. The worker on the ground let go of a plank too early while handing it to the injured worker. The injured worker lost his balance due to the weight of the platform and fell about 5 feet into the sloped excavation. His knee landed on the osha plank below.
