Was climbing on his trailer to do a routine inspection of his load when he slipped and lost footing Struck his right knee and shin on the trailer. Caused bruising and severe discomfort. He carried on without seeking medical attention. However approximately 1.5 hours into his route his leg had become so swollen he was unable to drive safely. He pulled over and was instructed to call [REDACTED] and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
