Before the incident
First shift ECM employee was in the EDM area and was using a hoist to place the [REDACTED] bucket which weighs 49 lbs. back into the wooden crate. The crate spaces were too tight which did not allow for the bucket to go in smoothly. While on the hoist the employee had to jimmy the part back into the crate to push it back in. The hoist had no tension since it was already lowered. The bucket fell down into the crate and cut the left middle finger of the employee along the way resulting in a laceration that required stitches.
