Before the incident

Per ee: I was assisting my trainee with placing a subject into handcuffs after being medically cleared. The subject then started resisting and flinging his body at officers to prevent being placed into handcuffs.

What happened

Per ee: I was using control tactics on the subject trying to help get him into handcuffs. I placed my hand around the male trying to grab his hand which was balled into a fist possibly about to hit officers. The male then rotated his body on my wrist causing it to twist. My watch band snapped off from the motion. The male continued to resist using his body to push officers back. I had my right hand on the males right arm which was now under his body when he pushed me back using his buttocks. The male continued thrashing until nursing staff assisted in getting the male into custody. I could immediately feel minor pain in my right wrist on the top and the outer side of the wrist.
