Before the incident
The associate was moving produce items in the wet cooler and loading them onto a cart to bring out to the sales floor. The associate moved a lug of celery and stepped forward with it to place it on their cart.
What happened
As they stepped they caught the corner of a rolling base for the lugs. The associate stumbled on a pallet and landed on their side with the lug of celery coming down with them. Immediately following the fall the associate did not think anything of it. The next day they woke up with rib pain on the left side and their lower back.
