Pushing pallet jack

A Bagging Room Operator was pushing a full pallet of double stacked 8oz film rolls (18 rolls) into the Bagging Room. Pallet jack was in good condition no resistance in pushing through the area was noted. The Operator suddenly felt a cramp feeling on their lower left side of their abdomen groin. Operator took a break during which time the pain did not subside. Upon returning from break the Operator reported directly to their supervisor and advised of their injury. EHS performed basic triage and made the determination the Operator needed to be sent out for further evaluation due to suspicion of a hernia injury. Clinic confirmed hernia injury and Operator placed on restrictions pending further evaluation.
