Employee was attempting to remove a bun sealing film from the sealing head on [REDACTED] # 1 when his hand was lacerated Employee was re-threading film in appropriate manner until employee closed the interlocking guard and started the machine. Once machine was started employee reached over the guard to grab a bun film when the film sealing apparatus engaged and closed onto the employees finger causing a laceration. Employee contacted [REDACTED] and was advised to seek medical attention. Employee taken to ER where employee received 10 stitches.
