[REDACTED] 8 14 23 [REDACTED] LINE 121117 Skinner Op Laceration to index fingerSafety was called down to Laundry First Aid for a TM who had gotten caught in a skinner on the [REDACTED] Line TM stated that he was working on the skinner his hand had slipped the knife in the skinner had caught his glove and cut the tip of his index finger TM stated that he was using all PPE required for his job The laceration is on the tip of the index finger medium amount of bleeding no swelling or redness Incident was seen by co workers TM requested ibuprofen that was offered for later pain First Aid was given TM rinsed with saline water and anti biotic soap bleeding controlled with a tourniquet closed and wrapped with gauze and bandage TM is to report to HR first aid for a follow up first thing [REDACTED] before going to the floor
