DOH 9 26 22 Maint [REDACTED] Wastewater Mechanic RT Arm Chemical Burn RecordableReceived call from [REDACTED] this am stating was at BMMC ED r t TM burning arm with sulfuric acid Instructed to have TM brought to office upon return to facility Verbalized understanding TM brought into office this am by supervisor [REDACTED] TM reports an alarm was going off on PH showing PH was empty TM reports turned pump off donned PPE and disconnected hose from container pushing it out of the way TM reports Used a forklift to bring new one in DAF building He bent down to remove cap and acid starting shooting out TM reports main valve was open TM reports closed valve and went to put hose on when acid starting to burn arm KTM reports removed gloves rinsed arm with cold water and notified supervisor
