DOH [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Waste Water Maintenance Left Eye Foreign Object TM reported to safety dept on [REDACTED] due to foreign object in his left eye TM noted that yesterday at around [REDACTED] he was working grinding a metal object does this routinely day day for operations was wearing the clear safety glasses hand held machine Nothing that he can remember going into his eye while he was doing the actual grinding he mentioned that during grinding the metal shavings build up on his face area above the safety glasses and when he finished he went to wash his face at the eye wash sink area this is normal Shortly after washing his face he began to feel minimal discomfort TM washed his eyes out the help of his team lead [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] before going home At home TM arrived took a shower and tried to flush out his eyes he talked to his wife at [REDACTED] decided to go to the clinic on [REDACTED] L TM was treated and staff decided to get further treatment and was sent to Midla
