Extrusion operator was crossing the asphalt roadway between the railcars and the silos.
What happened
At [REDACTED] the extrusion operator was checking on railcars to ensure that they were pumping correctly. He noticed that one railcar was not pumping efficiently so he walked over to check on the silo pump. While walking across the plowed asphalt roadway the operator slipped on ice and braced for the fall. He suffered a broken right wrist injury.
