Operator was cleaning tip of B screw while standing on extruder deck.

Individual was using the grinder to remove plastic from B screw. Person was approached by another co-worker when they turned to address the co-worker they placed their foot between the extruder deck and the handrail. The individual fell between the handrail and extruder deck. The individual hit the top back right side of their head on the inside rail of the platform. They felt dizzy after hitting their head. Said they went to the break room to recuperate. Also when they fell their right shin calf area got trapped between the handrail and the extruder deck stopping his fall.
