Before the incident
Was trying to read the warning label on a bottle of Oxycide [REDACTED] - new product we recently received for cleaning C. Diff rooms. According to what she was told by coworkers the original top on the bottle was made for an arsenal type set up not pouring so it had been replaced.
What happened
Apparently because of this the bottle started dripping until I felt a little burning sensation on two of the fingers on my right hand. I was not wearing gloves because I didn 't think I would need them just to read the outside of the bottle.I noticed some white spots on my fingers where they had come in contact with the chemical. She went and was seen in the ED.
