Before the incident
An employee was in the process of emptying a dumpster hopper containing laminator bleeder material into the roll-off dumpster located outside the facility in the pallet yard.
What happened
After pulling and releasing the lever to tip the hopper the hopper slid back into position unexpectedly. As it returned it caught the employee’s left index finger resulting in a laceration requiring stitches.
