Before the incident

What happened
The employee grabbed the strip end and began feeding it through the rotary pre-punch. They had to manually turn the rotary in order to get the material through the punch. They were having difficulty turning the rotary wheel due to its design so they began pulling on the material at the same time with their other hand to help get the material through the punch. As they were doing so they felt a sharp pain in their back.
