Re-stacking a layer of 4x6 's that had fallen off the side of a package of lumber

What happened

Team member was re-stacking a layer of 4x6 's that had fallen off the side of a package of lumber. While re-stacking one of the 4x6 's rolled off the edge and smashed his left ring finger between the haul out sprocket and the board. Team member was wearing gloves at the time of incident. Upon initial report of incident the finger was not swollen or bruised and he did not wish to seek medical care. As the day progressed his finger began to swell and became discolored. By end of shift the finger was extremely swollen making it difficult to remove his glove and he wished to seek medical care. He agreed to take OTC pain medications and ice his finger for the evening [REDACTED] and an appointment was scheduled for the next day [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. The finger was x-rayed and it was determined that the team member had a tuft fracture at the tip of the left ring finger. He was given a splint to wear over his finger for 5 weeks and to return for a follow-up x-ray at the end of 5 weeks. He
