THIS RN WAS DRAWING LABS FROM THE IV IN THE LEFT AC AND WAS TRYING TO UTILIZE MY FINGER DEXTERITY. WHEN I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF PUNCTURING THE TUBES I WAS ABLE TO FILL THE TUBE THEN WHEN I PULLED THE BLOOD FILLED SYRINGE WITH THE BLUNT TIP INTACT THE SYTING SLIPPED AND SCRAPED THE MEDIAL POSTERIOR LEFT SIDE OF MY THUMB AND BLOOD WAS PRESENT. CHARGE NURSE AND MANAGER NOTIFIED.
