Team member was manually moving tooling plate that had been left off tooling cart out of the reach of the area lift assist.
What happened
Team member was manually moving tooling plate that had been left off tooling cart out of the reach of the area lift assist. During the move TM felt a “pull” in his lower abdomen groin area. TM reported the incident and continued to work with minimal discomfort and without restrictions declining any medical treatment. It was later determined that the TM had a left inguinal hernia requiring surgery.
