What happened
Patient detoxing from alcohol became agitated and violent. We were attempting to hold her still in order to give medications when she broke free and began hitting and kicking. She was able to twist to her side and punch me in the face and bite my left forearm breaking the skin. I was seen in the ED for treatment for the bite.
