What happened
[REDACTED] was using a Hilti [REDACTED] battery powered concrete nailer to shoot fasteners into a round column to install expansion joint on the north side of the job. When he shot the fastener the concrete around the nail broke apart and shot above cement masons glasses striking him on the top of his right eye. [REDACTED] was leaned over to perform this operation which contributed to the debris missing his glasses and striking him on the top of his right eye.
