What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] an employee was replacing lockout tagout procedures on the load end dump station of the coater when he received a laceration to his left index finger. The employee got his left index finger cut on the hook that holds the procedure. The employee reported the injury to his supervisor. The supervisor contacted the safety manager and the safety manager responded to the shop and observed the injury. It was then determined that the employee would need more than first aid and was sent to urgent care. At urgent care the employee received four stitches to his injury and he then returned back to work.
