Moving Oversize glass lite from mobile rack onto shipping rack.
What happened
[REDACTED] was one of 2 employees slotting oversize annealed glass from a rolling rack into a shipping rack. He was the front man in a 2 man lift moving a piece of 3 16 that was about 65 x70 . When he lifted the glass off the rolling rack he felt a sharp pain in the lower right part of his back. [REDACTED] decided to try and ignore the pain because he did not want to risk dropping the large piece of annealed glass so he proceeded to slot that piece into the Bungee. After the glass was securely in the shipping rack [REDACTED] sat down and told his partner that he hurt his back. [REDACTED] was taken to the Dignity Health clinic in [REDACTED] where he was given pain medication and X-rays were taken. He will be out of work for 3 work days until his follow up appointment.
