Before the incident
Employee was attempting to tie off a rack of annealed glass.
What happened
Employee was in the process of tying up a rack of annealed glass. The glass size was roughly 26 x 30 and was 5.7 mil thick. As he was re tying a knot in the twine to secure the load. His hand slipped and his left pointer finger contacted the glass. The result was a small laceration to the back side of the finger. Employee called his supervisor they went and cleaned up the wound. Bandaged the finger up and transported the employee to the Northfield Hospital.
