Employee was on roof of hospital [REDACTED] before the rash appeared and thought he came in contact with a chemical but wasn 't sure what. He started with a burning on his cheek and under his eye. [REDACTED] he developed a rash on the left side of his face and some swelling.

The patient actually had shingles. He was given a shot of steroid in the office because of the amount of swelling present. He as sent to the eye doctor because if was affecting the left eye. it was confirmed that his rash was shigles.
