What happened
Patient ([REDACTED]) in [REDACTED] was hemorrhaging after delivery. While I was assisting the provider and grabbing supplies I took off my glove and noticed my thumb was bleeding. I did not handle any needles that came into contact with the patient but I am not sure what I cut it on. I rinsed the cut and cleaned it with iodine and then informed my charge nurse who then notified the house supervisor and help obtain paperwork for services from Carenow.
