While assisting patient to standing position (both hands under patient 's arms) from toilet to walker patient had a sudden syncopal episode and collapsed. RN slowly helped patient to knees. A PCT helped RN lift patient from knees to the bed. I immediately noted a sharp pain in left arm while lowering patient to knees. Patient care continued due to critical nature of patient status throughout rapid response. Once able to tag out nursing supervisor and [REDACTED] [R[REDACTED]ACT[REDACTED]] made aware of injury. Nursing supervisor discussed injury and thought it was best to be admitted and evaluated in [REDACTED].
