What happened
accidental needle stick in the right 4th finger. Had withdrawn the straight stick needle from patients ' right AC after it blew. Needle was in my left hand. I had picked up the blood tubes with my right hand went to move the tray with my left. I forgot I had the butterfly in my left hand not a normal catheter needle went to put it in my right hand and stuck my 4th finger on my right hand. It was in the end of my finger just by the nail.
