What happened

Mortuary brought a 350-pound body with a faulty stretcher and a tiny driver. The stretcher collapsed. The body hit the pavement face down. The driver was having difficulty getting this huge body out on the stretcher out of the van. She could not pull it out. I offered to help. I pulled the body out slowly and the foot end of the stretcher legs came down and automatically locked. I pulled again slowly. The legs on the head of the stretcher dropped down but did not lock. The legs collapsed on the head end of the stretcher when it cleared the van with [REDACTED] holding on at the head of the stretcher but the U-bar she was holding onto on the front of the stretcher broke off. The stretcher rapidly fell to my left and the patient hit the ground. After that fall my back hurt very badly. I called the ED and security to help
