Before the incident

What happened
While a forklift attempted to move the cut-off saw from building 2 to building 1 it ran over the uneven transitional pavement from the asphalt to the plant concrete floor. The uneven terrain caused the unsecured cut-off saw to fall from the forklift. An employee walking in front of the forklift tried to catch the cut-saw as it fell off the forks of the lift causing them to trip and fall onto their right elbow. The employee was traveling in front of the forklift to open the garage door for the operator. The employee reported pain and soreness in the lower bicep area.
