after cutting the edge protector with their gerber knife the associate moved the gerber to their left hand and attempted to pull out the jammed edge protector using a needle nose plier in their right hand. Pliers slipped off the edge protector causing their right hand to come down contacting the exposed knife blade in their left hand.
