Before the incident

walking from CT scanner 2 tech desk to CT scanner 1 Tech station.

What happened

I was sitting at CT scanner 2 with CT supervisor. I was in tall chair and supervisor was in stool. We finished another CT tech was going to use this scanner now for a patient and we were going to go to CT scanner 1. We both got up from our chairs and started to head to CT 1. While walking behind chairs and stools they were pushed up by the desk. I stopped to turn back to counter to grab notes and when I turned back to take a step towards CT 1 again the wheeled stool was now right in my path (no longer up by the desk) and my left foot landed straight on the stool leg...which wheeled away with my foot across my body forwards and towards my right side. I put my hands up and started to fall forward and to the left until my Left hand (specifically my pinky finger) hit the corner edge of the metal filing cabinet to my left. This caused extreme pain and for me to fall backwards on my butt (right side tailbone hip) not sure it was a blur do to the pain of my pinky. I do know I was on the floor
