What happened
Dr. [REDACTED] was performing a bilateral inguinal hernia repair. While dissecting tissue with the [REDACTED] he accidentally cut a hole in his glove and knicked his left index finger. Dr. [REDACTED] had RN circulator remove his affected glove had her pour betadine solution over his left index finger and hand allowed to dry then he was re-gloved via sterile technique by scrub tech. [REDACTED] was removed from sterile field and new [REDACTED] used to remainder of case.
