What happened
An employee on line cleaning day while scrubbing after the equipment had been covered with sanitizing foam the foam splashed into her eye. She was wearing safety glasses at the time the foam splashed in behind her safety glasses. The employee did not think anything of it at the time. Another employee led her to the eye wash station where she flushed her eyes for 15 minutes as the SDS sheet says to. The incident was reported to her supervisor and the safety manager. Not willing to take risks with it being a chemical in an eye. The employee was taken to urgent care for evaluation and treatment.
