de-accessing port

After incisions were closed with sutures and skin glue it was realized port was not flushed with saline and heparin prior to closing. RN accessed port with huber needle (non-safety) that comes with port flushed with saline and heparin. After deaccessing port huber needle pocked through sterile glove into the pad of my left thumb. Immediately removed gloves and thoroughly washed with soap and warm water. Applied Band-Aid. Reported incident to Nursing Supervisor [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] Imaging Supervisor.
