This injury happened while reassembling the #3 metering bowl on the B side EQ. There wasnt enough room to put the clamp back on so employee removed the pin to create more room and it created a pinch point.
What happened
This injury happened while reassembling the #3 metering bowl on the B side EQ. There wasnt enough room to put the clamp back on so employee removed the pin to create more room and it created a pinch point. Employees right hand index finger got pinched and cut. Employee received stitches to the right hand index finger and told to see Orthopedic Surgeon for follow-up appt. Employee was seen by Orthopedic Surgeon and was scheduled for surgery the next day to correct issue with nerve tendon on right hand index finger top knuckle. Employee then under PT evaluation and appointments until released to full duty.
