Before the incident
was transferring patient from bed to chair using gait belt. patient pivoted to her flacid side rather than her strong side when her balance was lost and she began to fall
What happened
I caught patient as she slipped and tried carrying her full weight up to the bed but that hurt my upper back so I switched to using my legs to lift her to her chair but that didn 't work so i slowly lowered her to the floor.
