Before the incident
They were folding TIG corners and employee #1 had their finger a little too close to the bend line. Employee #2 hit the pedal to bend the corners without realizing that employee #1 's hand was there. Employee #1 yelled as soon as they felt the pressure from the machine and thankfully the machine stopped at the 1 2-inch mark like it 's supposed to. Since you have to hit the pedal a second time to finish the fold employee #2 was able to catch it before it went all the way down.
