The bus was stopped and dropping 2- passengers one passenger was a wheelchair passenger that needed to be unloaded. I was training a new driver and this was the new driver 1st day driving bus. When we got to the stop the driver put bus in neutral instead of park when he went to deploy lift it didn 't work so he got back in the bus and went to put into park but his foot slipped and hit the gas pedal because which jolted the bus forward. I didn 't know he went around to do this and I was unhooking the wheelchair passenger lap belt and when the bus jolted my hand slammed into the wheelchair and pulled my pinky on my left hand back.
