Before the incident
I was preparing my stuff such as putting on gloves preparing the needle checking patients arm as well.
What happened
When I was done with my blood draw I removed the needle with my right hand and stopped anchoring with my left hand. As I lifted my left hand to cover the area with gauze the needle hit my left middle finger.
