Before the incident
While cleaning the dock a team member collected two hand trucks dollies and placed them on a yellow TV cart on the floor. When attempting to move one of the dollies the team member grabbed the kickstand and lifted it causing the blade portion of the dolly to slam onto their right foot and impact the toenail. No bloodborne pathogen kit was required. The team member was treated with the first aid kit and the nurse line was contacted. The nurse line recommended the team member visit Concentra within 4 hours. The team member was escorted to the front of the building on foot and dismissed from work to attend the appointment.
