Assisting with closing for the event & telling a worker goodbye
What happened
IW was in the process of closing the venue down and saying goodbye by the main entrance. As she approached the ADA gate it caught her and struck her knees. The area of the entrance is dark and the gate is black which made it difficult to see the metal bar. The upper half of her body went forward but her legs knees were caught on the metal bar causing her to nearly flip over. It appears the gate was not properly secured. She was immediately impacted and screamed and reported that she felt a pop on her right knee. She experienced discomfort in her knees from the impact and took ibuprofen as she continued to feel pain and her knee continued to swell. Confirmed WC code with UW is accurate for travel exposure
