THE EMPLOYEE EXITED GATE 7 TO ASSIST A PASSENGER IN THE BAGGAGE CLAIM AREA AND SECURED THE GATE DOOR FROM THE EXTERIOR.
What happened
AFTER SECURING THE DOOR AND WALKING AWAY THE EMPLOYEE STEPPED ON AN ANGLED DOOR STOPPER LOCATED OUTSIDE THE DOOR. THE EMPLOYEE LOST BALANCE TWISTED HER ANKLE AND FELL TO THE GROUND WHY DID THE UNSAFE CONDITION EXIST: ANGLED DOOR STOPPERS WERE LEFT ON THE SIDA JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR BY WFS CREATING A TRIP HAZARD.
