Sprain to left ankle after stepping out truck and into a pot hole.

[REDACTED] was helping deliver trim material to the first floor of the home at the above address. [REDACTED] and the driver he was assisting ([REDACTED]) were stacking material in the first floor hallway near the stairs to the basement. The stairs were unmarked and the railings and other barriers had been removed. After setting down some trim material in the hallway [REDACTED] took a step back to turn around and fell through the hole at the top of the stairs to the basement floor approximately 8-10 feet. [REDACTED] landed on the bottom stairs and ended up on the basement floor. Homeowner called [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] was taken by ambulance to Lutheran Medical Center for evaluation.
