What happened
I was applying a skin substitute. While suturing the Adaptic in place to keep the skin substitute within the wound base I was tying the square knot and the suture needle slipped through my thumb and cut me. Immediately removed my gloves and washed hands with soap and water and reported to my manager for follow-up protocol.
