Verifying the condition of the pressure box.

Upon verification of the condition of the pressure box EE turned to exit the aircraft and after taking a few steps placed his left foot on the center floorboard mid bay. The floorboard dropped from its support causing the EE to lose footing his foot slid past the floorboard completely dislodging it. As the EE was falling he attempted to catch himself with his left arm. These actions resulted in a strained left ankle and strained left shoulder. EE immediately went to the on-site nurse for evaluation. Investigation revealed that outboard boards were installed on the inboard track when the incident occurred.

Uneven floor beams when installed floorboard displaced additional strain to left shoulder occurred when EE tried to brace himself when falling.
