Helping a nurse to waste a medication.
What happened
I was asked to help waste a narcotic in the cathlab. I followed the cathlab worker and walked into the procedural area. No one told me fluoroscopy was being used and that I needed protection. I put my credentials in the pyxis then Dr. [REDACTED] said you 're being exposed to fluoro. I jumped back behind the wall. I was in the cathlab for a total of maybe 10-15 seconds.
