Employee was on a job using a drill press and a fixture to hold the part and remove a spur from the part. The employee was shown how to use the drill press how to clamp the part into place.

Before operation the employee was told not to wear any kind of glove while operating the drill press. The employee was observed for a few cycles then left to operate the drill press. Some time after the employee acquired gloves and put them on. The employee did not lift the drill out of position and did not wait for the drill to stop before unlatching the part. The glove was caught by the drill wrapped and twisted the back of her hand removing a patch of skin roughly 2 x 2. No fracture or other injury.
