pushing bed to CT and bed malfunctioned. Had to pull bed back hard to gain control. Then bed lost power and had to be manually pushed causing strain to L knee and R back

I was transporting my patient to an urgent CT. After exiting the elevator and entering the hallway just outside the ED the bed failed to stop when I released the control buttons on the handle. I had to pull the bed back hard to regain control and felt a sharp pain in my left knee and right mid-lower back while trying to stop the bed. I got the bed to go back into steering mode but shortly after the bed lost power and stopped in the hallway by CT. I had to manually push the bed to an outlet in order to give it enough power to switch to neutral.
